Food Ministry
Our church is honored to serve as a local food distribution center in partnership with Feeding America, Blessings of Hope, and our other donors. Through this ministry, we provide nutritious food to families and individuals in need throughout our community. Distributions are held at 253 Ballenger Rd., Jamestown, KY 42629, as we seek to extend Christ’s love in both word and action.

Q. Do you deliver?
A. No, we are unable to deliver.
Q. When and where do you distribute the boxes?
A. Every 2nd Saturday of the month at 253 Ballenger Rd. Jamestown.
Q. What time do you distribute
A. We open the doors no later than 8:30 am. We stay open until 10:30 unless we run out of boxes.
Q. Can we reserve a box and pick it up later?
A. The box must be picked up at the posted time.
Q. Is every box identical?
A. No, our food suppliers do not always have enough items available for every box. However, we do our best to make each box comparable. Many premium items such as milk, eggs and certain meats are limited.
Q. Do I have to qualify?
A. Yes, there are income standards based on number of people that live in your house.
Q. What do I need to bring for qualification purposes?
A. Nothing, one of our volunteers will ask how many people live in your house. They will show you a chart and ask if you make less than that amount.
Q. What is your funding source and can someone donate.
A. We partner with Feeding America and with Blessings of Hope. We accept private donations and anyone can submit their tax-deductible donation to Greater Hope Christian Fellowship POB 1416 Russell Springs KY 42642.
Q. Is there a residency requirement?
A. We will not ask you where you live.
Q. Do I have to attend Greater Hope Christian Fellowship Church?
A. No
